January 19 I can’t believe I’m still at it

I’ve said before that I don’t do resolutions; and this year is no different, but I have to admit that I’m still journaling, walking, reading, affirming and on and on and its day 19!

spots is missing

Oh my goodness – you are not going to believe this. Our cat Spots went missing on January 30, 2018. We posted a picture on Facebook that she went missing.

My sister came by last night for our “sistahs soiree” dinner and game night and she said well we got another cat. Something about a neighbor had it and I don’t remember the whole story and I didn’t think anything of it.

I was browsing my Facebook newsfeed and my brother-in-law posted a picture of the new cat and you are NOT going to believe this but it’s OUR cat. The cat we lost in January of 2018. We truly thought that a coyote might have gotten her. When I saw the picture I called my daughter right away (as Spots is officially our oldest grand daughters cat) and asked her to tell me if she thought the cat was Spots. She said yes – and we started scouring our pictures to find a face to face picture to compare and OH MY GOODNESS – IT’S SPOTS!!!!

It’s crazy right? After a year of our cat missing it shows up this week at my sister and brother-in-laws house. The pictures show you the picture of Spots that my brother-in-law posted on Facebook and the picture that we loaded of spots when she went missing a year ago.

Our picture of Spots from several years ago

Crazy how things happen. I’m going to see her tomorrow and am so excited.
